The vaccine was approved for emergency use this month by the World Health Organization, which said efficacy results showed it prevented symptomatic disease in 51% of those vaccinated, and prevented severe Covid-19 and hospitalisation in 100% of the studied population.
The Facts:

677,348 medical personnel received two doses of Sinovac.
618 became infected. (912 infections per million).
1 died (1.47 deaths per million people.) or (1.62 deaths per 1,000 infected).
One Doses of Sinovac or Not Vaccinated.
About 25,000 medical personnel had received either no dose, or just 1 dose of Sinovac.
162 became infected. (880-618=162) (6,480 infections per million).
