Daluyon Beach And Mountain Resort,
Sabang, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines
One of the best hotels in the Sabang area of Palawan, and only a short ride to the Underground River, now one of the Seven New Natural Wonders of the World.
However, one feature that caught my eye was the wording “the only resort on Sabang Beach to offer our guests Air Conditioning and continuous power supply”.
Other options have Electricity only between 6pm and 6am according to most information I have seen. I do doubt if this is the ONLY Hotel or Resort with its own 24 hr generator. UPDATE: Other hotels do have power for more hours than that, and I noticed that Sabang has more solar panels and windturbines (albeit small ones) than anywhere I have seen yet.

The Suite, at PHP 6,216 per night in March 2013, is advertised as having TWO private balconies, but in fact may only have ONE private one, and a shared one.
The standard suite is smaller than the Junior Suite. These two options are actually in the same unit, a single floor consisting of a living area two bedrooms, both with ensuite, and two balconies. The Junior Suite option gives use of ALL rooms, but can be split into a Standard Suite and a Standard Room, with the standard room consisting of the second bedroom of the unit, leaving the other bedroom and the living room to form the standard suite.
I didn’t realise this when we checked in, and was quite surprised when the people in the next room returned via our “private balcony”, being the only entry point to their room.
I think this may just be an error in the website description, which needs updating.
