Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed by a missile that hit him directly in a state guesthouse where he was staying.
30 July 2024. Hezbollah’s top commander Fuad Shukr, identified by the Israeli military as the right-hand man of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Mohammed Deif, one of the Hamas masterminds that started the Gaza war with Israel on 7 Oct 2024, was reported to have been killed when fighter jets struck the area of Khan Younis in Gaza. In 1996 Mohammed Deif was the mastermind behind the Jaffa Road bus suicide bombings which killed 45 people. (embassies.gov.il)

Mohammed Nasser was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon. Identified by the Israeli military as the Hezbollah commander of a unit responsible for firing missiles into Israel from southwestern Lebanon.

Taleb Abdallah, a senior Hezbollah field commander, was killed in a strike on a Hezbollah command and control centre in southern Lebanon.

Saleh al-Arouri, Deputy Hamas chief, was killed by an Israeli drone strike in Beirut. He was the founder of the Qassam Brigades, a military wing of Hamas.

Forty-eight suicide bomb attacks against Israeli civilians were carried out by armed Palestinian groups between January 1, 2001 and August 31, 2002.
Between September 1993 and September 2000, Palestinian groups carried out fourteen suicide bombing attacks against Israeli civilians, killing more than 120 and wounding over 550. Hamas claimed responsibility for most of the attacks. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the rest.
Suicide bombers have targeted shopping malls, popular cafes and restaurants, quiet religiously observant neighborhoods, and commuter buses.
