Arab countries don’t want Palestinian Refugees.

Why don’t Egypt and Jordan take Palestinian Refugees?

Egypt and Jordan flank Israel on opposite sides with Egypt sharing a border with Gaza and Jordan sharing a border with the occupied West Bank,

They have both replied with a staunch refusal to allow Palestinian refugees into their countries.

Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, said that the current war was not just aimed at fighting Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, “but also an attempt to push the civilian inhabitants to … migrate to Egypt.” He warned this could wreck peace in the region.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II, whose country already has a large Palestinian population, gave a similar message saying, “No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt”.
