The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) unveiled two new destinations, Camiguin in Northern Mindanao and Masbate in the Bicol Region, with a low priced seat sale.
99 pesos is the advertised basic fare, before taxes etc (time limited sale price)
The airline will launch direct flights from Cebu to Masbate on June 1, 2013, and will operate these flights every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
They will depart Cebu at 6:15am and arrive in Masbate at 7:10am.
The return flight will depart Masbate at 7:30am and arrive in Cebu at 8:25am.
The island of Masbate is known for its scuba diving spots, including the Manta Ray Bowl at the Ticao Pass, as well as the “Rodeo Masbateno,” a rodeo festival which takes place every April.
Normal prices appear to be PHP899 for the Cebu-Masbate route.
