I have one regret about my visit to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines, and that is, that I chose to visit Kinabuch’s Grill And Bar just a few days before I left the area… I should have tried it in my first days here, and then many more times…
I do recall seeing it in the first few days, but thought it might be a bit pricey as I am on a budget holiday, but decided to try it tonight, before flying out in the next few days. I thought a treat would be nice, but the prices surprised me, especially with the “value meals” from just 89 pesos, going up to 109 pesos, and that is meat and rice.
If you are missing fried chicken and chips, then give their Chicks and fries a try. Maybe it was 4 weeks without tasting fries, but I thought these were excellent, and the quantity of fried chicken was really good.
550 Pesos ($14) for two of us, one of us having Chicken Adobe, including a pitcher of iced tea, and a banana split shared between the two of us certainly did not break the budget after all.
Kinabuch’s Grill And Bar is an open air restaurant and they sometimes have live bands. They also have large TV screens often showing sport, but without any sound that I could hear.
