During 1941 to 1945 the United States supplied the Soviet Union with $180 billion (at 2023 values) worth of military equipment to fight off the invading Nazis.

This equipment aided Russia in remaining a safe country.

During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the United States had supplied Ukraine with $77 Billion in aid as at 15 January 2023.

This is aiding Ukraine to become a safe country in the future.
