Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan to share US$145 Billion.
The United States has approved the allocation of another US$145 Billion for the defence of Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
Ukraine was invaded again by Russia on 24 February 2022. This followed the 2014 invasion where Russia began to occupy Ukrainian territory, including Crimea.
Israel was invaded by Hamas (Government in Gaza) on 7 October 2023.
Taiwan has been threatened with invasion by China for many years.
Prior to 1942, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) maintained that Taiwan was a separate nation. In 1949, the Peoples Republic of China claimed Taiwan as a province of China.
Article 8 of the Chinese Presidential Decree No. 34, formalised the long-standing policy of the PRC to use military means against Taiwan independence.
