Simon Dorante-Day was born in Gosport, near Portsmouth, in April 1966. (a July 1965 conception?). He was adopted at 18 months old by a British couple, Karen and David Day. According to Simon, his adoptive grandparents formerly worked for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in the royal household.
